Rabbi Netanel Friedman

Born in Israel and raised in Baltimore on the Ner Israel Rabbinical College campus, Rabbi Netanel Friedman grew up surrounded by Torah learning – literally. Having spent his childhood, and most of his adult life, at Ner Israel, Rabbi Friedman is steeped in traditional sources, yet keenly aware of the world around him.

A graduate of Ner Israel,  Rabbi Friedman has many years of experience  in teaching, as well as Rabbinic and communal activism. Upon first meeting Rabbi Friedman, people are disarmed by his sweet demeanor, broad smile and easy laugh. After spending just a few moments with him, however, they soon find an astoundingly bright, quick-witted, and tirelessly devoted teacher and community builder. Rabbi Friedman’s stated policy is that he will never turn down someone who asks to learn Torah with him. Affable and adaptable, meticulous in preparing for a class, dedicated to fostering strong connections, and genuine in his care for every Jew, Rabbi Friedman – along with his wife Reva and three children – has already proved an exciting addition to the Sharon Community Kollel family.
